Sunshine, blue skies

Blood on the pavement, sirens scream. Imagine they are seagulls singing to the sea. Imagine the salt you taste is the softest wisp of sea fret. Tickling your tongue, dancing on your skin. Not the iron copper of your own blood flowing. Flesh ripped, broken. Decayed. Blue skies and sunshine. Another summer day. The light so bright. Blue skies fade.
